. Heraldic animal The Tux rock sheep would have had the same fate, but thankfully, one recognized the value of this race of sheep and made every effort to preserve it. It is particularly suited for breeding purposes and its wool is used to produce the world-famous Tuxer Loden cloth. The „Tuxer Janker", which is an important component of the national costume - called „Zillertaler Tracht"- is made out of the Tuxer Loden. A mighty ramīs head decorates the Tux coat of arms since 1974.
